PTC Windchill System Integrator Partner

Element Consulting is a PTC System Integrator partner with PTC Certified Windchill Implementation Practitioners on staff. We implement, upgrade, integrate and rescue PTC Windchill for manufacturers in regulated and engineer-to-order industries — 127 implementations since 2003.
We don't sell PTC licenses. We implement the platform, connect it to the rest of the enterprise, and make sure people use it.

PTC's implementation model is partner-led. In June 2022, PTC sold a substantial portion of its PLM professional services business to ITC Infotech (now DxP Services), and PTC's Windchill+ Success Path directs customers to select an implementation partner, describing PTC's own role as an Implementation Assurance Service on partner-led engagements. That's the model we work in — the partner does the implementation; PTC stands behind the platform.
What PTC Windchill is
Windchill is PTC's enterprise PLM platform: the system of record for product data, BOMs, configuration and change across engineering and manufacturing. It's delivered on-premise or as Windchill+ SaaS, and it integrates with CAD (Creo and multi-CAD), ERP, MES and quality systems. [What Is PTC Windchill? — our full explainer]
Where we work in Windchill
PDMLink — the core: product data, CAD management, release and change
MPMLink — manufacturing process management: eBOM-to-mBOM, process plans, work instructions
ProjectLink — program and project coordination
Windchill+ — PTC's SaaS delivery; migration from on-premise
Windchill ESI — the enterprise systems integration framework for ERP
ThingWorx Navigate — role-based access to Windchill data
Configuration and change management — ECR/ECN, effectivity, baselines
What we do with it
Service | What it means |
|---|---|
Implementation | Discovery, configuration, migration, integration, adoption — 4 to 9 months for a mid-size manufacturer |
Upgrade and migration | Version upgrades, Windchill+ migration, cloud moves — rehearsed, verified, zero-outage |
ERP–PLM integration | Windchill to SAP, Oracle and Dynamics 365, using ESI, middleware or custom, fitted to your configuration |
MPMLink | The engineering-to-manufacturing handoff done properly |
Rescue and optimization | Live deployments that stalled, under-adopted or drifted |
Configuration management | CM infrastructure for programs where hardware and software revisions move at different speeds |
Organizational change management | On staff, not a training deck — adoption is the deliverable |
