Joe Down leads requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment for PLM initiatives at Element Consulting, translating business needs into documentation teams can actually build from. A U.S. Air Force Academy graduate with a background in data science and Python, he specializes in the connective work that makes Windchill deployments stick — data migration, governance, access control, and the cross-functional coordination between engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Before Element, Joe delivered PLM engagements at ITC Infotech, leading Windchill workstreams for aerospace and medical-device clients, migrating data from a dozen source systems, and guiding offshore teams. He's known for the rare mix of business acumen and technical fluency that lets him "punch above his weight class" across a project.
