Windchill Technical Architect

What You’ll Do

• Architect, implement, test, and support PTC Windchill solutions.

• Design customizations, extensions, and integrations aligned to customer requirements.

• Lead technical solution work across Change Management, Parts, Documents, BOM Structures, Effectivity, and related PLM functions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade Windchill environments.

• Manage and run data migration activities.

• Independently install, configure, and customize Windchill solutions.

• Act as a lead technical advisor for customers and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years working with PTC Windchill (12.1 or later), Windchill APIs, Java, JSP.

• PTC Certified Implementation Practitioner or equivalent.

• Experience with ESI and RESTful integrations.

• Background in software engineering or development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and deliver high‑quality technical solutions.

• Lead with configuration and automation first over customization.

• Strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies.
