Eric is the CEO and founder of Element Consulting Group and brings over 20 years of professional consulting and client delivery experience. He is responsible for the vision and strategy as well as managing the quality and financial performance of the organization. Eric leads the current healthcare innovation initiatives with the Element team delivering one primary goal to our clients: the realization of measurable value to the bottom line financial measures.
Eric has worked as a consulting leader and client manager integrating business and technology initiatives at consulting organizations like KPMG, Technology Solutions, and AlixPartners and has successfully delivered across industries (healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, telecom and financial services) and worldwide geographies. When Eric is not delivering value to the Element clients and building disruptive healthcare delivery innovation, he spends time with his family and enjoys a round of golf with friends.
Amy Drury is a leader with over 20 years of experience and strong business acumen. She has extensive experience building and leading teams within the management consulting industry. She brings specific experience with her that includes healthcare, financial services, consumer retail, manufacturing, and communications. As a partner, Amy is responsible for developing and expanding the sales and product offerings of Element in the Twin Cities market. She most recently worked as VP of sales for Coherent Solutions and previously was senior vice president and managing director at Genesis 10, where she managed sales, recruiting, and delivery.
Drury currently serves on the executive committee of the board of directors for the Fairview Foundation, which supports Fairview Health Services.
Healthcare Consulting Director
Sam leads the healthcare practice specializing in solutions for the provider market. The solutions include patient financial engagement and value based reimbursement leveraging technology and proven operational process. Sam focuses on delivering solutions that provide measurable incremental benefit. Establishing baseline performance and measures that translate to clinical and financial success is key. He combines his clinical and financial experience in many areas of provider operations to understand both short and long term goals and how to get there.
Sam’s background includes revenue cycle and clinical operations consulting. He is very experienced in translating projects and services to a provider’s bottom line performance. His experience ranges from working side by side with those delivering the healthcare products and services daily, to C-Suite leadership strategizing for future growth. He specializes in innovative and market-leading projects solving providers’ current and future problems. Providing value based solutions to over 50 healthcare providers across the US from large academic medical centers and physician practices in places such as Ascension, Intermountain, University of Kansas, and many more. He was born and raised in the Twin Cities and loves to spend time with his family at the lake and downhill ski trips out west.
Senior Consulting Manager and Practice Lead
Shawn has deep experience across broad industries, including healthcare, finance and retail. As practice lead, Shawn draws on strong delivery experience to nurture lasting client relationships. His main areas of focus include recruiting lifecycle, client delivery, consultant development, account management and sales. He has led efforts that have delivered excellent results for Fortune 500 clients: Ameriprise Financial, Target Corporation and UnitedHealth Group, to name a few. He is experienced in projects that require close partnering with C-suite stakeholders from multiple organizational verticals, such as contact center management, reporting and analytics, pricing, IT project management, vendor management, marketing, product and operations.
Shawn was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and golfing with friends.
Business Operations Manager
Katie Kimm is no stranger to the Consulting Industry, having over 15 years of experience. Prior to starting her Operations and Human Resources Management career, Katie spent many years as a consultant for such clients as UnitedHealth Group and Eaton. In her current role, Katie manages the day-to-day Human Resources and Operations side of Element Consulting Group. Katie is responsible for the onboarding/offboarding of our internal employees and consultants, benefits management, Client and Consultant outreach, and ensuring that our team stays on track operationally. Katie has also been an integral piece of the selection and roll-out of our new internal Client/Applicant tracking tool.
Katie is originally from the Twin Cities area where she studied Philosophy at St. Mary's University. Before joining Element Consulting Group in 2015, she was living in Charlotte, NC where she enjoyed great weather and a close proximity to both the beach and mountains. Although she is not a fan of the snow or cold in Minnesota, she does enjoy being closer to her family as well as golfing and weekends at her cabin during the summer months.
